July 27, 2013, marks the 60th anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement, which ended the three-year-long Korean War. Although the conflict claimed many American lives, the Korean War has been called “The Forgotten War,” because it has been overshadowed by the more immediate memories of Vietnam, Desert Storm and the fiftieth anniversary commemorations of World War II.  But, trust me; the Koreans don’t call it such.  The war is FAR from “forgotten” in North and South Korea.
