Dr. Doan obtained his D.D.S. degree from UCLA School of Dentistry and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry (NYUCD). He has over two years of work experience in private practice.

He finds great joy in caring for children in both his personal life as uncle to his nine nieces and nephews and professional life as a pediatric dentist. He has taken full advantage of the Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Program at NYUCD to gain extensive clinical and didactic training encompassing behavior management, trauma, conscious sedation, full-mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia, management of special needs patients, comprehensive orthodontic assessment and interceptive treatment. He has also completed the qualifying exam from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and will pursue a board certification in the near future.

Dr. Boloorchi is a graduate from Loma Linda University’s Dental Anesthesiology program, a two year hospital based Anesthesiology program. Her medical training included Loma Linda University Medical Center and Riverside County Medical Center. She also received further specialized training at the Special Care Dentistry Clinic at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry, which sees nearly five thousand patients annually, primarily comprised of pediatric and adult special needs patient. Prior to her training as an anesthesiologist, she obtained her under graduate degree from UCLA and her doctoral degree from USC School of Dentistry.

Her goal is to provide the fastest care in the safest possible environment. For this reason, while the dentist concentrates on high-quality dental work, she will be focused on your child’s safety. What To Do When Your Tooth is Knocked Out?

If a permanent tooth is knocked out, you have a dental emergency situation that requires an immediate attention of a dentist. The longer a knocked out tooth is left out of its socket, the more likely will be the failure of trying to reestablish the tooth. These knocked out teeth can often be re-implanted if it is replanted within minutes after the accident occurred and there is a greater chance the tooth will be retained for life. After the accident, the tooth should be handled by the crown or enamel portion not by the roots. If the tooth is dirty or contaminated, it should be rinsed with milk or water very gently. Do not use soap or any abrasive substance to clean the tooth. Submerge the tooth in milk and come to our office, Jonathan H. Try to place the tooth in the socket. Bite down gently on gauze to help keep in place.
If the tooth cannot be replaced in the socket, place it in a container and cover with a small amount of whole milk or saliva.
Apply a cold compress to the mouth and gums for pain
Apply direct pressure, using gauze to control bleeding
Do NOT handle the roots of the tooth. Handle by the crown portion only.
Do NOT scrape the root of the tooth to remove dirt.
Do NOT brush or clean the tooth with alcohol or peroxide.
