Dr. Doan obtained his D.D.S. degree from UCLA School of Dentistry and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry (NYUCD). He has over two years of work experience in private practice.

He finds great joy in caring for children in both his personal life as uncle to his nine nieces and nephews and professional life as a pediatric dentist. He has taken full advantage of the Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Program at NYUCD to gain extensive clinical and didactic training encompassing behavior management, trauma, conscious sedation, full-mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia, management of special needs patients, comprehensive orthodontic assessment and interceptive treatment. He has also completed the qualifying exam from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and will pursue a board certification in the near future.

When a patient is missing some or all of the teeth on the jaw, traditionally these patients have had to use dentures either full or partial.

With regards the patient who has lost all of his teeth, stability and retention of the denture may hamper the patient from enjoying eating, speaking. This may also create fear when socializing that the denture may slip and cause embarrassment. Dental implants may be placed to aid in retaining the denture and provide a more stable base allowing the patient to eat, speak and socialize as if they had all of their own teeth.
